Too much means, excessive... duh

When Stan Van Gundy said "ESPN is like 'All (Miami) Heat, all the time'", he wasn't kidding. ESPN will roll out an in depth editorial coverage called "The Heat Index".

As an Orlando Magic fan, this makes me REALLY bitter. Why doesn't ESPN have this kind of coverage for other teams? Lakers have been in the finals 3 times out of 3 seasons winning 2 of them, Orlando is a force to be reckoned with in the east not to mention the aged Boston Celtics.

Even with all this bitterness, ESPN runs a business and in all fairness the Miami Heat is the hottest piece of news in the NBA at the moment with the 3 of the Top 10 players playing for the same team. People will read it, people will share the story and for ESPN? Well this is what they do and this is what ESPN is for so stop hating.

Southbeach bringin' the HEAT, uh

Party in the city where the HEAT is on
All night on the beach till the break of dawn
Welcome to Miami (bienvenido a miami)
Bouncing in the club where the HEAT is on
All night on the beach till the break of dawn
I'm going to Miami

That’s what LeBron James was probably singing when he made his career decision to go and play with Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. Yup you heard it right, he’s joining the Miami Heat to build an empire. To better visualize on how it’s going to be here is a picture I made (I can only use MS paint, photoshop is too complicated) to give you guys a better understanding on what kind of trio they would become.

Some people on twitter already gave them nicknames such as "Miami Thrice", "Miami Power Rangers", "Miami cHEAT", "Miami 3:16"(Wade wearing #3, Bosh wearing #1 Bron wearing #6) and others that I can't remember even if my life depended on it.

So what does it mean for the Heat? Well it definitely means lots of championships in the upcoming seasons. They'll definitely be the team to beat in the east. What does this mean for my Orlando Magic? harder competition in the southeast division. If Orlando wants to win the chip, definitely this year should be the year. Then again with all the moves Pat Riley is doing, they might already start their Championship run this year... Only time will tell, yes I know that was pretty cliché.

Chris Wade - Dwyane Bosh

Years and years we've seen those Dynamic Duo in the NBA and it's always been fun to watch them play. With the announcement of Dwyane Wade, it is now verbally official that Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade will be playing together in miami.

So the thing is, the Miami Heat currently only have 4 players on their roster (Including Bosh and Wade)

1. Michael Beasely
2. Mario Chalmers
3. D-Wade
4. C-Bosh

Now with a projected 2010-2011 salary cap of 56.1m and with 2 max contracts coming up along with Beasely and Chalmers contract, they really don't have a lot to spend with for the remaining roster spots.

Miami heat is, well, lacking a Center, and a whole Bench. If I did my math right, they would roughly have 16m left to spend on a Center and a Bench. Really 16mil? Yeah apparently thats not much to work around with to be honest. Oh did I mention theres about 11 roster spots to fill? yeah exactly right

All in all, I'm pretty happy for Miami to land 2 all-stars but what comes after this is a brain twister but nevertheless it'll be really exciting to watch Bosh and Wade play together... EVEN IF they never win a championship together... (Then again I really have no idea what Heat fans thinks about this in the long run maybe its a good thing.)

In other news,

Kevin Durant (The guy who won the scoring title last year and led the Thunder to its very first playoff birth in which they sent the lakers in 6 games) just signed a 5 year 85mil extension with no opt out with the Oklahoma City Thunder AND he did it on twitter. You now became my 2nd favorite player in the NBA KD, and you have my respect, good job!
